Compound Ammonium Ferric Citrate Syrup
Function and Efficacy
Iron is the main component of hemoglobin and myoglobin. Hemoglobin is the main oxygen carrier in red blood cells; myoglobin is the site where muscle cells store oxygen to help supply oxygen during muscle movement. Most enzymes and factors related to the tricarboxylic acid cycle contain iron, or can only function in the presence of iron. Therefore, active iron supplementation for iron-deficient patients can accelerate hemoglobin synthesis and gradually correct symptoms such as growth retardation, abnormal behavior, lack of physical strength, changes in mucosal tissues, and skin and nail lesions that are related to tissue iron deficiency and reduced iron-containing enzyme activity. Vitamin B1 has the effect of maintaining and improving gastrointestinal function.
