Tetanus immune globulin

This product contains high-titer tetanus antibodies that can neutralize tetanus toxin, thereby preventing and treating Clostridium tetani infection.

This product is a specific immunoglobulin preparation obtained by immunizing with hepatitis B vaccine and then immunizing with tetanus toxoid to obtain healthy human plasma or serum with high tetanus antibody titer. It contains more than 90% of immunoglobulin G. The tetanus antibody titer per 1ml is not less than 100 units. There are two dosage forms: injection and lyophilized product.

Lyophilized preparations should be white or off-white loose bodies. Liquids and lyophilized preparations should be colorless, slightly opalescent or light yellow clear liquids after dissolution. They should not contain foreign matter, turbidity or precipitates that cannot be dispersed.

The strain is made from high-titer plasma or serum collected from healthy blood donors who have been immunized with hepatitis B vaccine and then immunized with tetanus toxoid. It is mainly used to prevent and treat tetanus, especially for those who are allergic to tat. It is suitable for tetanus patients with unclear immunization history and serum allergy, wound infection for more than 24 hours, and tetanus toxoid vaccination but still no immunity. Tetanus toxoid can be injected at the same time or one month later.

Double the dosage for those with severe wound contamination. 4 Treatment: 3000-6000 units. Tetanus toxoid can also be used for automatic immunization, but the injection site and equipment should be separated. Divide into 3 equal parts and inject into three different sites.

Generally there are no adverse reactions. Very few people experience redness, swelling, and pain, which can recover on their own without special treatment.

It is contraindicated for patients with a history of allergy to human immunoglobulin products.

Should be used alone.

Liquid preparations should be stored in a dark place at 2-8°C, and lyophilized preparations should be stored in a dry place below 10°C.
