Hydroquinone cream

This product is a skin depigmenting agent. Its mechanism of action is to produce reversible skin depigmentation by inhibiting the enzymatic oxidation of tyrosine into 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (DOPA) and inhibiting other melanocyte metabolic processes.

The main ingredient of this product is hydroquinone

This product is a white ointment with an emulsion base.

Treatment of melasma, freckles and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation

Apply an appropriate amount to the spots once in the morning and evening every day. Generally, it takes several weeks for the pigmentation spots to be alleviated. If the lesions do not improve, the medication should be continued for several weeks. When the color of the spots returns to normal skin color, the medication should be gradually reduced. If the medication does not remove spots or lighten pigments after 2 months of treatment, the medication should be discontinued or followed the doctor's advice.

A burning sensation may be seen; local allergic reactions (such as local contact dermatitis) may occur occasionally. In this case, the drug should be stopped immediately and treatment should be given.

It is contraindicated for use by people who are allergic to this product, children under 12 years old and pregnant women.
