Function and Efficacy
This product is a vitamin drug. It has the function of promoting growth and maintaining the normal functions of epithelial tissues such as skin, conjunctiva, cornea, etc., and participates in the synthesis of rhodopsin, enhancing the photosensitivity of the retina; it participates in many oxidation processes in the body, especially the oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids. When vitamin A is deficient, growth stops, bones grow poorly, reproductive function declines, skin becomes rough and dry, cornea softens, and dry eye and night blindness occur.

Appearance
This product is a capsule containing yellow or dark yellow oily liquid.
Indication
Used to prevent vitamin A deficiency symptoms such as night blindness, dry eyes, corneal softening, and rough keratinization of the skin.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: Adults take 1 tablet once a day; children aged 2-6 take 1 tablet once a day. Do not take for more than 10 consecutive days. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist for dosage for children.
Adverse Reactions
1. No adverse reactions if taken according to the recommended dose. If taken for 6 months at a daily dose of more than 100,000 units, chronic poisoning may occur, manifested by loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, itchy, dry and flaky skin, and increased intracranial pressure. 2. Acute poisoning may cause abnormal excitement, drowsiness, diplopia, increased intracranial pressure, and other symptoms.
Precautions
It is contraindicated in patients with hypervitaminosis A.

Drug Interactions
Sucralfate, aluminum hydroxide, neomycin, and cholestyramine can affect the absorption of vitamins A and E. Oral contraceptives may increase the concentration of plasma vitamin A and accelerate the metabolism of vitamin E. Avoid using this product with dicoumarol and its derivatives to prevent the vitamin E in them from interacting with them and causing hypoprothrombinemia.
