Appearance
This product is a colorless clear liquid
Indication
It is used for hepatic encephalopathy, suitable for patients who are avoiding sodium, and also for the treatment of mental symptoms caused by increased blood ammonia due to other reasons.
Usage and Dosage
Before use, dilute with 1000ml of 5% glucose injection and drip intravenously 15-20g at a time within 4 hours.
Adverse Reactions
1. It can cause hyperchloremic acidosis and increase the concentration of urea, creatine and creatinine in the blood. 2. Too fast intravenous drip rate can cause vomiting, salivation, skin flushing, etc.
Precautions
It is contraindicated in patients with hyperchloremic acidosis, renal insufficiency and anuria.
