Function and Efficacy
This product is a macrolide antibiotic. Its mechanism of action is similar to that of erythromycin, and its antibacterial spectrum is also similar to that of erythromycin, but its antibacterial activity against most Gram-positive bacteria is slightly worse. Some erythromycin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus are still sensitive to kitasamycin. This product also has considerable activity against diphtheria, tetani, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, pertussis, Rickettsia and Chlamydia trachomatis.

Appearance
This product is white or off-white granules and powder with aromatic odor and sweet taste.
Indication
It is mainly used for skin and soft tissue infections, respiratory tract infections, streptococcal pharyngitis, scarlet fever, diphtheria, Legionnaires' disease, whooping cough, gonorrhea, non-gonococcal urethritis, acne, etc. caused by Gram-positive bacteria.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: Adults: 0.2-0.4g at a time, 3-4 times a day, total daily dose: 0.8-1.2g. Children: 25-50mg/kg per day, divided into 3-4 doses, for a course of 7-14 days.

Occasionally, stomach discomfort, rash, etc. may occur.
