Desloratadine Syrup

This product is a highly effective and long-lasting tricyclic antihistamine, a selective peripheral H1 receptor antagonist, which can relieve various symptoms caused by allergic reactions.

Each bottle of this product contains 60 mg of loratadine. The auxiliary materials are: propylene glycol, glycerol, citric acid monohydrate, sodium benzoate, sugar, peach flavor and purified water.

This product is a clear thick liquid.

This product is used to quickly relieve symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny and itchy nose, nasal congestion/stuffy nose; itchy eyes, tearing and congestion; itchy palate and cough. This product is also used to relieve symptoms associated with chronic idiopathic urticaria, such as itching, and can reduce the number and size of urticaria.

Adults and adolescents aged 12 years or above: Oral administration, once a day, 1 tablet each time. Eating will not affect the effect of the medication.

At the recommended dose of 10 ml per day, this product has no obvious sedative effect. Common adverse reactions include fatigue, headache, drowsiness, dry mouth, gastrointestinal discomfort including nausea, gastritis and rash. Rare adverse reactions include hair loss, allergic reactions, abnormal liver function, tachycardia and palpitations.

It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to this product or have special physical conditions.

Precautions for children: The safety of this product for children under 12 years old has not been determined. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: No obvious teratogenic effect was found in animal experiments, but pregnant women should use it with caution. This product and its metabolites can enter breast milk, so lactating women should be very cautious when using this product, and breastfeeding should be stopped during the medication period. Precautions for the elderly: Not yet clear.

1. Taking ketoconazole, macrolide antibiotics, cimetidine and theophylline at the same time will increase the concentration of loratadine in plasma and should be used with caution. Other drugs known to inhibit liver metabolism should be used with caution before they interact with loratadine. 2. If used with other drugs at the same time, drug interactions may occur.
