Domperidone Tablets

This product acts directly on the gastrointestinal wall, increasing gastrointestinal motility and tension, promoting gastric emptying, increasing gastric antrum and duodenal motility, coordinating pyloric contraction, and also enhancing esophageal motility and the tension of the lower esophageal sphincter, inhibiting nausea and vomiting. This product is not easy to pass through the blood-brain barrier.

Each tablet of this product contains 10 mg of domperidone. Excipients are: starch, microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, and magnesium stearate.

This product is white tablets.

Used for indigestion, abdominal distension, belching, nausea and vomiting.

Oral administration: Adults take half a tablet to 1 tablet at a time, 2-3 times a day, 15-30 minutes before meals.

1 Mild abdominal cramps, dry mouth, rash, headache, diarrhea, nervousness, fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, etc. may occur occasionally; 2 Sometimes serum prolactin levels may increase, galactorrhea, and feminization of male breasts may occur, but they will return to normal after stopping the drug.

Precautions for children: Due to the incomplete development of the blood-cerebrospinal fluid barrier in children under 1 year old, the possibility of central nervous system side effects in infants under 1 year old cannot be ruled out. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Use with caution in pregnant women. Precautions for the elderly:

1. Anticholinergic drugs such as acetaminophen, propantheline bromide, scopolamine, belladonna tablets, etc. will weaken the effect of this product and should not be taken together; 2. When this product is used together with acetaminophen, ampicillin, levodopa, tetracycline, etc., the absorption rate of these drugs will increase; 3. When this product is used together with digoxin, the absorption of the latter will be reduced; 4. If you are taking other medicines, please consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this product.
