Acetaminophen tablets

This product can inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins and has antipyretic and analgesic effects.

Each tablet of this product contains 0.3g of acetaminophen as the main ingredient. The auxiliary ingredients are starch, gelatinized starch, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, stearic acid, talc, potassium sorbate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and triacetin.

This product is yellow-brown granules; it tastes sweet, slightly bitter and spicy.

It is used to treat fever caused by the common cold or influenza, and is also used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as headache, joint pain, migraine, toothache, muscle pain, neuralgia, and dysmenorrhea.

Oral administration: Children aged 4-6 years, 0.5 tablets at a time; children aged 7-12 years, 1 tablet at a time; children aged 12 years and above and adults, 1-2 tablets at a time. If fever or pain persists, the medication can be repeated every 4-6 hours, and should not exceed 4 times within 24 hours.

Occasionally, skin rash, urticaria, drug fever and granulocytopenia may occur. Long-term and large-scale use of the drug may lead to abnormal liver and kidney function.

It is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic and renal impairment.

Precautions for children: Children under 3 years old should avoid using this product because of their underdeveloped liver and kidney functions. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: This product can pass through the placenta and be secreted in breast milk, so it is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: Due to the decline of liver and kidney functions in elderly patients, the half-life of this product is prolonged and adverse reactions are prone to occur. It should be used with caution or in a reduced dosage.

1. Long-term use of this product may cause liver damage in patients who use barbiturates (such as phenobarbital) or antispasmodics (such as belladonna). 2. Taking this product together with chloramphenicol may enhance the toxicity of the latter. 3. If used with other drugs at the same time, drug interactions may occur. Please consult a physician or pharmacist for details. 4. Long-term regular daily use of acetaminophen can enhance the anticoagulant effect of warfarin and other coumarins, thereby increasing the risk of bleeding; occasional use has no significant effect.
