Granisetron Hydrochloride Capsules

Function and Efficacy

This product is a potent, highly selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist in peripheral neurons and the central nervous system. It has a good preventive and therapeutic effect on nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery. Factors such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery can cause enterochromaffin cells to release 5-HT, which can activate the 5-HT3 receptors of the central nervous system or vagus nerve, triggering the vomiting reflex. This product can selectively block the triggering of this reflex. Due to the high selectivity of this product, it does not have the side effects of other antiemetics, such as extrapyramidal reactions and excessive sedation.
