Vitamin K4 Tablets
Function and Efficacy
This product is a vitamin drug. Vitamin K, as a coenzyme of carboxylase, participates in the synthesis of coagulation factors II, VII, IX, and X. The glutamic acid residues on these factors must form 912 gamma-carboxyglutamic acids under the action of the carboxylase system of the liver microsomal enzyme system, so that these factors can bind to Ca2 and connect to the phospholipid surface and regulatory proteins, so that these factors have coagulation activity, thereby producing a coagulation effect. If vitamin K4 is deficient or the epoxide reduction reaction is blocked (such as antagonism by coumarins), the synthesis of factors II, VII, IX, and X will remain in the precursor state, and the prothrombin time will be prolonged, causing bleeding.
Ingredients
The main ingredient of this product is vitamin K4, and its chemical name is menadione acetate.
