Function and Efficacy
1 Pharmacology This product is a quinolone antibacterial drug. It is a broad-spectrum antibacterial drug with significant antibacterial effects on Gram-positive bacteria including Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Enterococcus faecalis; it also has good antibacterial effects on Gram-negative bacteria Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Salmonella, Shigella, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Proteus, Enterobacter, Pseudomonas, Acinetobacter, and Neisseria (Neisseria gonorrhoeae, etc.). This product also has good antibacterial effects on mycoplasma, Chlamydia, Legionella, and anaerobic bacteria including Bacteroides fragilis and Mycobacterium. The mechanism of action of this product is to inhibit the action of DNA gyrase in the process of bacterial DNA synthesis and have a bactericidal effect. 2 Toxicology Mice and rats were orally administered this product according to body surface area, with a dose of 3.5 to 6.2 times the human dose (400 mg) for a total of 104 weeks, and no carcinogenic effect was observed. This product has no mutagenic effect on Salmonella strains TA98, TA100, TA1535, TA1537 and Escherichia coli strain WP2, but has a mutagenic effect on Salmonella strain TA102, causing DNA repair and arrangement of Escherichia coli; it can cause chromosomal abnormalities in lung cells of Chinese rats at in vitro cytotoxic concentrations. Male and female rats were orally administered this product at a dose of 15.4 times the human dose (400 mg) based on body surface area, and there was no significant effect on their fertility and reproductive capacity.

Indication
This product can be used for mild and moderate infections caused by sensitive bacteria, including: 1. Usage and Dosage
For adults, take orally 0.1-0.3g at a time, not more than 0.4g at most, once a day. The course of treatment is generally 5-10 days. The course of treatment can be appropriately increased or decreased according to the type of disease and condition.

Drug Interactions
1 Like enoxacin, norfloxacin and ciprofloxacin, there are rare reports of spasms when this product is used in combination with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (such as fenbutyric acid, propionic acid derivatives, etc.). 2 When this product is used in combination with antacids containing aluminum, magnesium, and iron and sucralfate, the absorption of this product can be reduced, thereby reducing the efficacy. If it is necessary to take it, it should be taken at an interval of 4 hours. 3 When this product is used in combination with theophylline, caffeine, warfarin, and cimetidine, it does not affect the plasma concentration of the latter. 4 The pharmacokinetics of this product are not affected by the combination with digoxin and probenecid. 5 Nutritional supplements containing metal ions and vitamins containing zinc, iron, and calcium can be taken 4 hours after taking this product. 6 This product should not be used in combination with astemizole, terfenadine, cisapride, erythromycin, pentamidine, phenothiazines, tricyclic antidepressants, disopyramide, and amiodarone.
