Function and Efficacy
This product is involved in the formation of antibodies and collagen in the body, tissue repair (including certain redox effects), the metabolism of phenylalanine, tyrosine, and folic acid, the utilization of iron and carbohydrates, the synthesis of fat and protein, as well as the maintenance of immune function, hydroxylation of 5-hydroxytryptamine, maintaining the integrity of blood vessels, and promoting the absorption of non-heme iron.
Ingredients
Each tablet of this product contains 1 gram of the main ingredient vitamin C. The auxiliary ingredients are apocarotene, citrus flavor, orange flavor, vitamin B2, saccharin sodium, sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, sucrose, and tartaric acid.

Indication
1. It is used to prevent and treat scurvy, and can also be used as an auxiliary treatment for various acute and chronic infectious diseases and purpura. When patients with Keshan disease suffer from cardiogenic shock, they can be treated with large doses of this product. 2. It is used to treat chronic iron poisoning (vitamin C promotes the complexation of iron with deferoxamine, which accelerates the excretion of iron).
Usage and Dosage
Oral. For adults. 1. Dietary supplement: 50-100 mg per day. 2. Chronic dialysis patients: 100-200 mg per day. 3. Vitamin C deficiency: 100-200 mg once, 3 times a day. Take at least 2 weeks. Children: 100-300 mg per day, take at least 2 weeks. 4. Acidified urine: 4-12 g per day, divided into several doses, once every 4 hours. 5. Idiopathic methemoglobinemia: 300-600 mg per day, divided into several doses.
Adverse Reactions
1. Long-term use of 2-3g per day may cause scurvy after discontinuation of the drug. 2. Long-term use of large amounts of vitamin C may occasionally cause urate, cysteine or oxalate stones. 3. Large amounts (daily dose of more than 1g) may cause diarrhea, red and shiny skin, headache, frequent urination (daily dose of more than 600mg), nausea and vomiting, and stomach cramps.

Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: This product can pass through the placenta and be secreted into breast milk. Pregnant women who consume a large amount of this product every day may be harmful to the fetus, but this has not been confirmed by animal experiments. Precautions for the elderly:
Drug Interactions
1. Oral administration of large doses of vitamin C can interfere with the anticoagulant effect of anticoagulants. 2. Combined use with barbiturates or primidone can increase the excretion of vitamin C. 3. Sodium cellulose phosphate can promote the metabolism of vitamin C into oxalate. 4. Long-term or large-scale use of vitamin C can interfere with the effect of disulfiram on ethanol. 5. Salicylic acid can increase the excretion of vitamin C. 6.
