(1) This product is a calcium influx blocker (also known as a calcium channel blocker or calcium ion antagonist), which blocks the entry of extracellular calcium ions into myocardial and vascular smooth muscle cells through the calcium ion channels (slow channels) of the cell membrane. (2) This product directly relaxes vascular smooth muscle and has an antihypertensive effect. (3) The mechanism of action of this product in relieving angina pectoris has not been fully determined, but it reduces myocardial ischemia through the following effects: a) dilates peripheral arterioles, reduces peripheral resistance (afterload), and thus reduces myocardial energy consumption and oxygen demand; b) dilates coronary arteries and coronary arterioles in normal and ischemic areas, increasing myocardial oxygen supply in patients with coronary artery spasm (variant angina pectoris). (4) This product takes a long time to metabolize in the liver. Like all other calcium antagonists, it should be used with great caution when liver function is impaired.

This product is white tablets.

1. Hypertension; 2. Angina pectoris: especially spontaneous angina pectoris.

(1) The initial dose for the treatment of hypertension and angina pectoris is 2.5 mg once a day; the dose can be increased according to the patient's clinical response, up to a maximum of 5 mg once a day. (2) No dose adjustment is required when this product is used in combination with thiazide diuretics, β-blockers and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors.

Patients tolerate this product well. (1) Less common side effects are headache, edema, fatigue, insomnia, nausea, abdominal pain, flushing, palpitations and dizziness; (2) Extremely rare side effects are itching, rash, dyspnea, weakness, muscle cramps and indigestion; (3) Similar to other calcium channel blockers, there are very few reports of adverse reactions such as myocardial infarction and chest pain, and these adverse reactions cannot be clearly distinguished from the patient's underlying diseases; (4) No abnormal laboratory test parameters related to this product have been found.

It is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to dihydropyridine calcium antagonists.

Precautions for children: There is no data on the use of this product in children. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: This product is recommended only when there are no other safer alternatives and the disease itself poses a greater risk to the mother and child. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly patients can use normal doses. However, it is better to start with a smaller dose and then increase it gradually.

(1) This product is safe to be used in combination with the following drugs: thiazide diuretics, beta-blockers, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, long-acting nitrates, sublingual nitroglycerin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, antibiotics and oral hypoglycemic drugs. (2) In healthy volunteers, the combination of this product with digoxin did not change the blood concentration or renal clearance of digoxin; when combined with cimetidine, the pharmacokinetics of this product did not change. (3) In vitro research data show that this product has no effect on the plasma protein binding rate of digoxin, phenytoin, warfarin or indomethacin. (4) In healthy male volunteers, the combination of this product with warfarin did not affect the changes in prothrombin time caused by warfarin.
