Ioprolamine, also known as Uvycin, ioprolamine, is a non-ionic low-permeability contrast agent, launched in Switzerland in 1986. This product can reduce the adverse reactions caused by high osmotic pressure. The solution is neutral, so it does not affect the structure of charged proteins and cell membranes, nor does it interfere with electrolyte balance in the body, so it has little effect on red blood cells, endothelial cells and body fluids. Its advantages are: directly used for angiography, basically no pain; The tolerance of endothelial cells was good. Minor adverse reactions; It has almost no effect on heart rhythm. It does not reduce myocardial contractility; The nervous system has good tolerance to Chemicalbook; Oral administration of this liquid is not absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract. It is injected into the blood vessels and quickly distributed into the extracellular fluid. Within minutes of intravenous administration, pharmaceutical concentration peaked in the kidneys, followed by the blood and liver, and lowest in the muscles. Not through the blood-brain barrier, but a small amount through the placental barrier. After intravenous injection, if the kidney function is good, the biological t1/2 in the blood is 3 minutes. All the contrast media were filtered through the glomerular and excreted 60% and 92% from the kidney at 3h and 24h respectively. About 2% are excreted in feces after 6 days. A very small amount may be excreted from milk.
