Uses ：The oxidation product of tetrahydrobiopterin, a naturally occurring aromatic amino acid hydroxylase cofactor involved in the synthesis of tyrosine and the neurotransmitters dopamine and serotonin. It is a non-competitive inhibitor of GTP cyclic hydrolase I with a Ki of 14.4 μM.
