Function and ApplicationFunction

1.Sodium acetate trihydrate is used as esterification agent in organic synthesis, photographic medicine, medicine, dyeing mordant, buffer, chemical reagent, meat preservative, pigment, tanning and many other aspects.

2.Sodium acetate trihydrate can be used to produce various chemical products, such as , acetate and chloroacetic acid. As the buffer of condiment, the product can alleviate the bad smell and prevent discoloration, and has certain anti mildew effect.

3.Sodium acetate trihydrate can also be used as sour agent for sauce, pickled cabbage, mayonnaise, fish cake, sausage, bread, sticky cake, etc. It is mixed with methyl cellulose and phosphate to improve the preservation of sausage, bread and sticky cake.

4.Sodium acetate trihydrate can be used as buffer, flavoring agent, flavoring agent and pH value regulator. As the buffer of flavoring agent, it can alleviate bad smell and prevent discoloration. It can be used 0.1% ~ 0.3% to improve flavor. For example, 0.1% ~ 0.3% is used in surimi products and bread.

What is Sodium acetate trihydrate ?

Sodium Acetate is a white or non-color crystal. Its density is 1.45, melting point is 58°C. It is deliquescent in wet air, and efflorescent into white powder in dry air. When heated to 123°C,it will lose the crystal water and become sodium acetate without water. It solutes well in water and little in alcohol.

Sodium acetate, also known as sodium acetate, is a sodium salt derived from acetic acid. Sodium acetate is a substance easily made from vinegar and baking soda. When the mixture cools below the melting point, it crystallizes. Crystallization is an exothermic process, so these crystals actually generate heat, which is why the substance is often called hot ice.
