    Product Description:

Azotobacter is a free-living, nitrogen-fixing bacterial biofertilizer that naturally converts atmospheric nitrogen into plant-available forms, enhancing soil fertility and crop productivity without the use of chemical nitrogen fertilizers.

Unlike symbiotic bacteria like Rhizobium, Azotobacter works independently in the rhizosphere, making it suitable for a wide range of non-leguminous crops such as cereals, vegetables, fruits, sugarcane, cotton, and ornamental plants. It also secretes growth-promoting substances like indole acetic acid (IAA), gibberellins, and vitamins that improve plant vigor and stress resistance.

    Key Benefits:

    • ✅ Fixes atmospheric nitrogen in soils for all crops

    • ✅ Enhances root development and nutrient uptake

    • ✅ Promotes better seed germination and crop yield

    • ✅ Improves soil health and organic matter retention

    • ✅ Reduces nitrogen fertilizer use by 20–30%

    • ✅ Compatible with organic farming systems

    Application Methods:

    • Seed Treatment:
Mix 200 mL (liquid) or 200 g (powder) Azotobacter with 10 kg of seeds using a jaggery or starch solution as an adhesive. Dry in shade before sowing.

    • Soil Application:
Mix 2–4 kg powder or 2 L liquid Azotobacter with compost or farmyard manure and broadcast over 1 acre.

    • Root Dipping:
Prepare a slurry using 1 L Azotobacter in 10–15 L water. Dip seedlings for 30–60 minutes before transplanting.

    • Drip or Sprinkler Irrigation:
Apply 1–2 L per acre diluted in 100–200 L of water for enhanced rhizosphere colonization.

    Recommended Crops:

    • Cereals (wheat, maize, rice)

    • Vegetables (tomato, brinjal, chili, etc.)
