Sodium Bromide is an inorganic compound that appears as colorless cubic crystals or white granules, is highly soluble in water, and is commonly used as a sedative-hypnotic drug, a component in photosensitive materials, as well as in the preparation of other bromides and the printing and dyeing, and perfume industries.

(1) Pharmaceutical field: It was once used as a sedative-hypnotic drug to relieve symptoms such as neurasthenia and insomnia; it can also be used as an auxiliary component of antiepileptic drugs to help control epileptic seizures (Note: Its medicinal use requires strict adherence to doctor's advice, and its clinical application has gradually decreased at present).
