    Antioxidants are organic compounds that inhibit or retard the thermal oxidation of polymers and other organic compounds in air. Typically, even a minimal concentration of 1% is highly effective. For example, foods prone to oxidation and spoilage can be extended by adding a small amount of antioxidant. Polymer materials such as plastics, synthetic fibers, and rubber are prone to thermal oxidative degradation, and antioxidants can maintain their excellent properties and extend their service life. Antioxidants should be added as close to the aging cycle as possible, for example, before the polymer is dried into powder. Antioxidant PL-440 is a phosphite antioxidant with excellent performance. It can be used as a secondary antioxidant and thermal stabilizer for polymers and is widely used in PVC, PET, ABS, polyolefins, nylon, PPO, PBT alloys, polystyrene, and other polymers. It effectively improves the light stability, processing stability, mechanical strength, color stability, and transparency of finished products, extending their lifespan. PL-440 has the unique ability to stabilize the melt viscosity of polymers. This non-toxic product can be used in food packaging.
