Efka® FA 4611

Efka® FA 4611 is a solvent-free wetting and dispersing agent with acidic groups

• excellently suited for solvent-borne and solvent-free coatings and printing inks

• broad compatibility in a wide range of resin systems

• very efficient in wetting and dispersing of titanium dioxide and other inorganic pigments

• high pigment and filler loading possible

• strong reduction of mill base viscosity

• suitable for high gloss systems

Application

Efka® FA 4611 is a solvent-free wetting and dispersing agent. It shows outstanding performance in dispersing and stabilizing of inorganic pigments - in particular titanium dioxide.
Efka® FA 4611 is excellently suited for solvent-borne and solvent-free coatings and printing inks. It shows excellent pigment grinding properties in white UV flexo- and screen inks and coatings based on TiO2. In combination with a universal solvent-based grinding resin like Laropal® A 81, low mill base viscosities with reduced pseudo plastic flow behavior can be
achieved.
Efka® FA 4611 is suitable for many coating systems such as:
• automotive OEM and refinish coatings
• solvent-born and solvent-free industrial coatings
• coil coatings
• wood coatings
• radiation curable inks (UV inks)
• reactive resins and composites
