      Product Detail

SCHPM branded 99.999% (5N) high purity Tellurium Dioxide (TeO₂) with CAS number 7446-07-3 is a premium amphoteric inorganic compound refined by high-purity tellurium metal vacuum oxidation and repeated recrystallization purification process. It is the irreplaceable core starting material for high-end acousto-optic devices, infrared optical glass, photovoltaic thin film manufacturing and university advanced material research labs, widely exported to global photoelectric enterprises and scientific research institutions.
This product appears as uniform fine white crystalline powder with tetragonal paratellurite crystal structure at room temperature; it will turn faint yellow under continuous heating above 400℃ and sublimate steadily at high temperature. Chemically, TeO₂ shows typical amphoteric characteristics, dissolvable in concentrated strong acid and strong alkali to generate tellurite salts, while nearly insoluble in pure water and neutral aqueous solution. Our exclusive vacuum oxidation production route eliminates residual nitric acid, sulfuric acid and other acid radical impurities existing in ordinary industrial-grade TeO₂, effectively avoiding long-term corrosion of crystal growth furnaces and optical coating equipment, extending service life of industrial production lines.
The biggest advantage of SCHPM 5N grade tellurium dioxide lies in ultra-strict trace element control: selenium, sulfur, lead, iron, copper and other interfering impurities are limited to ppb levels. Trace foreign impurities will cause severe lattice defects inside paratellurite single crystals, reduce light transmittance and acousto-optic conversion efficiency, and bring noise interference to laser modulation signals. Our low-impurity TeO₂ thoroughly solves such quality problems, greatly raising the yield and optical stability of finished acousto-optic modulators, infrared thermal imaging lenses and CdTe photovoltaic thin film products.
In laser communication and optical testing equipment factories, high-purity TeO₂ powder is used as raw material for growing large-size paratellurite single crystals, which are processed into acousto-optic deflectors, optical switches and spectrum filters with superior modulation efficiency across visible and near-infrared bands. For infrared optical material manufacturers, it serves as the main component of high-refractive-index tellurite glass, featuring wide transmission window covering 0.33–5μm wavelength, ideal for military thermal detectors, infrared monitoring instruments and mid-infrared optical fiber production.
New energy photovoltaic factories adopt this TeO₂ as precursor to deposit cadmium telluride thin film on solar cell substrates, improving photoelectric conversion rate and cell stability. Electronic material manufacturers add high-purity TeO₂ into silver conductive paste for PCB and 5G radio frequency components to enhance paste sintering performance and circuit conductivity. For laboratory testing institutions, it acts as standard tellurium element reference reagent for ICP-MS and AAS instrument calibration, and raw material for synthesizing various high-purity tellurium chemical catalysts.
    • 5N ≥99.999% ultra-high purity, trace impurities (Se, S, Pb, Fe, Cu) controlled under 0.5ppm, no lattice defects for optical crystal growth
    • Produced by vacuum oxidation & multi-stage recrystallization, free of residual acid ions, no equipment corrosion
    • Narrow particle size distribution, loose powder, excellent sintering performance for single crystal pulling
    • Outstanding infrared transmittance and high acousto-optic merit value, stable optical performance in mass production
    • Vacuum nitrogen-sealed light-proof packaging to avoid moisture contamination and surface oxidation
    • Complete test documents: GDMS impurity report, COA, MSDS, customs clearance certification
    • Flexible supply: gram lab samples and ton bulk industrial orders with stable spot stock
