    Product Overview

Monocalcium Phosphate (MCP) Monohydrate is a high-purity acidic calcium phosphate additive. It features good solubility in dilute acids, stable chemical properties, and wide compatibility with feed and food ingredients.

Its primary function is calcium and phosphorus fortification. MCP supplies highly bioavailable calcium and phosphorus, which are essential minerals for bone development, teeth formation and metabolic processes. It is widely used in compound feed to balance the dietary calcium-phosphorus ratio, improve growth performance and reduce nutritional deficiency.

In food-grade applications, MCP acts as an acidic leavening agent. It reacts with bicarbonate during baking to release carbon dioxide, creating a fluffy and uniform texture in cakes, biscuits and ready-to-use baking mixes. It also serves as a mild pH regulator in food formulations.

MCP is widely applied in animal feed, bakery products, baking mixes and nutrient-fortified food.

    Character

Monocalcium Phosphate MCP monohydrate is a white crystalline granules. It is odorless, stable under normal storage conditions, and slightly soluble in water but readily soluble in dilute acids.

MCP has high bioavailability of calcium and phosphorus, which makes it an effective mineral source in feed nutrition. Its acidic nature also enables it to function as a leavening acid in bakery systems. The product is compatible with most feed raw materials and food ingredients, with low heavy metal and impurity content meeting international safety specifications.

    Main Functions

Calcium & Phosphorus Fortifier (Core Function) Supply bioavailable calcium and phosphorus to animal feed, balance dietary calcium-phosphorus ratio, support bone development, teeth formation and growth performance of livestock, poultry and aquaculture animals.

Leavening Agent Act as an acidic leavening component in bakery formulations. It reacts with bicarbonate to release carbon dioxide during baking, creating fluffy texture and uniform volume in cakes, biscuits and baking mixes.

pH Regulator Provide mild acidity to adjust and stabilize the pH of food and feed systems.

    Applications

1Animal Feed (Core Application) Added to compound feed for pigs, poultry, cattle and aquaculture to supplement calcium and phosphorus, prevent nutritional deficiency, improve feed utilization and promote healthy bone development.

2Bakery Products & Baking Mixes Used as an acidic leavening agent in cakes, biscuits, bread and ready-to-use baking powder mixes, reacting with sodium bicarbonate to produce carbon dioxide and achieve light, fluffy texture.

3Nutrient-Fortified Food Serve as a calcium and phosphorus fortifier in fortified food, beverages and dietary supplement products.

4Other Industrial Uses Applied in certain industrial and technical formulations requiring acidic calcium phosphate.

    -------------------------------------Our Quality------------------------------------

    Our Quality

As a professional ingredient supplier, we do not operate manufacturing facilities. Instead, we build robust quality‑assurance workflows across our whole supply chain to safeguard consistent product performance for every shipment

    Strict Supplier Due‑Diligence

Before entering any partnership, we carry out on-site factory visits and assess industry reputation, followed by multi-stage qualification reviews. We validate production qualifications, export track records, quality management systems and complete certification packages. New suppliers must pass sample evaluation, and only fully vetted top-tier factories are admitted to our approved supplier pool

    Batch‑by‑batch Document Verification

For every order, we cross‑check factory‑issued test documents against agreed specifications including FCC, USP, EP, AJI, CP or your customized requirements. We will not forward documents to customers until key indicators are fully aligned with specifications. This step avoids inconsistent or mismatched documentation common in raw‑material trade.

    Independent Third‑party Testing Coordination

Upon client request, we can arrange independent laboratory inspections from recognized third‑party institutions. We manage sample delivery, test protocol communication and report follow‑up to support your market compliance needs.

    Quality Closure & Continuous Improvement

We keep traceable records for all delivered batches. If any quality concern arises, we act as your single point‑of‑contact to trace root causes with source factories, drive corrective actions and deliver practical resolution plans. Client feedback is systematically collected to optimize our supplier management and document‑review procedures.
