Coumarin 7 Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Using 4-diethylamino salicylaldehyde and 2-cyanomethylbenzimidazole as raw materials, the two are condensed in DMF solvent to form imine, and then hydrolyzed in acidic medium to obtain the product. Or take 4-diethylamino salicylaldehyde and 2-benzothiazole acetic acid as raw materials and condense the two to obtain the product. After solvent recovery and other post-processing, filtration and drying, the finished product is obtained. Add 8g of 4-diethylaminosalicylic aldehyde, 7.2g of 2-cyanomethylbenzimidazole, and 65ml of dimethylformamide (DMF) into the reaction flask. After the solid is dissolved, add a small amount of morpholine and glacial acetic acid. React at 25°C for 24h. Filter, wash, and dry to obtain intermediate imine (2-imino-3-2-benzimidazole)-7-diethylaminocoumarin. Add 100ml of hydrochloric acid and 5.7g of the above imine to the reaction flask, reflux at 100-103°C for 2.5h, cool to 5°C, add 250g of ice, neutralize with 50% NaOH solution to pH=7.5, precipitate a yellow solid, filter, The product is bright yellow after washing and drying.
