Acromelic acid A is a pyrrolidinecarboxylic acid that is siolated from the poisonous mushroom Clitocybe amoenolens. It has a role as a NMDA receptor agonist, a fungal metabolite and a neurotoxin. It is a pyrrolidinecarboxylic acid, a tricarboxylic acid and a pyridone. It derives from a L-proline.
