DIMETHYLPHOSPHOROCHLORIDATE Use and Manufacturing
The dimethyl phosphite chlorination method is generally used in China, that is, dimethyl phosphite is prepared by reacting phosphorus trichloride with methanol, and then chlorinated with chlorine gas. Mix and react phosphorous trichloride and methanol at a certain ratio under the condition of vacuum >86.7 kPa, to separate by-products such as methyl chloride and hydrogen chloride gas, deacidification, thin film deacidification and cooling at a higher temperature, Dimethyl phosphite is obtained. After content analysis, chlorine gas is introduced in a certain proportion under high vacuum to react to obtain the product. The total yield of the two steps of esterification and chlorination is above 90%. This product is a colorless and transparent liquid that decomposes with water and is soluble in organic solvents such as alcohol, benzene, and carbon tetrachloride.
A phosphorylating agent
