Methods of Manufacturing

Using 2, 3-dichlorophenol as raw material, first methylate with dimethyl sulfate to produce 2, 3-dichloroanisole, then condense with butyryl chloride in the presence of anhydrous aluminum trichloride, and hydrolyze, Get 2, 3-dichloro-4-butyrylphenol, and then condense the latter with ethyl bromoacetate with the participation of sodium ethoxide to obtain the product.

Uses

Intermediate of diuretic acid.
