Methods of Manufacturing

The preparation method is to add 3, 4, 5, 6-tetrahydrophthalic anhydride and urea into the reactor, stir and heat to about 150°C, slowly and gradually heat up and heat, the reaction is intense, and a large amount of white sublimation is formed. After the reaction is complete, add absolute ethanol after cooling, heat to dissolve, and perform recrystallization to obtain light yellow needle-like crystals, namely 3, 4, 5, 6-tetrahydrophthalimide. 3, 4, 5, 6-tetrahydrophthalic anhydride can also be used as aminating agent for ammoniating with liquid ammonia, ammonium bicarbonate, etc.

Mainly used for intermediates of dyes, medicine, pesticides, etc.
