Description

Captan, when pure, is a colorless crystalline solid. The technical grade is a cream to yellow powder with a strong odor. It is commonly dissolved in a “carrier” which may be combustible.ChEBI: A dicarboximide that is 3a,4,7,7a-tetrahydrophthalimide in which the hydrogen attached to the nitrogen is replaced by a trichloromethyl group.
