Mefenpyr-diethyl Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

22.8 g of ethyl methylacrylate and 14.8 g of ethyl-2-chloro-(2, 4-dichlorophenylhydrazono)carboxylate were heated to 50 °C — 60 °C. 7.6 g of triethylamine were added dropwise to this mixture in the course of half an hour. Stirring was continued for 2 hours at 70 °C., the mixture was allowed to cool, and the precipitate was filtered off with suction, and the filtrate was carefully concentrated under reduced pressure. 18.1 g of product was obtained.
