Shanghai Sisheng Polymer Materials Co.,Ltd. ( SiwoChem ) was founded by Dr. Yuchun Wei. It is a research-based company with major businesses in waterborne polyurethanes. The company is located in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park. It has a long history in the research and manufacturing of waterborne polymers, dating back as far as 1995.
In the nearly two decades, SiwoChem has been focusing on waterborne polyurethane, water-dispersible polyisocyanate crosslinker, and their derivative products as well as their applications. The company has completely independent intellectual property rights and a number of invention patents. In the field of waterborne polyurethanes, SiwoChem has become a professional company which has the full product ranges and extensive application coverages. Its products include water-dispersible polyisocyanate crosslinker, waterborne blocked polyisocyanate crosslinker, blocked aqueous polyurethane dispersions, aqueous polyurethane dispersions for leather,textil,rubber,paper,and ink coatings, high solids content (50-60%) waterborne polyurethanes for adhesives,textiles and synthetic leather, aqueous polyurethane dispersions for waterbased wood coatings, aqueous polyurethane dispersions for metal surface treatment, cationic and nonionic waterborne polyurethanes, hydroxyfunctional polyurethane dispersions, matte waterborne polyurethanes.
In 1998, SiwoChem started research and development, and production of waterborne polyurethanes in Pudong, Shanghai. In 2007, SiwoChem built the current factory and put into operation in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park. In early 2015, the business center in Hongxing International Plaza, Puxing Road, Shanghai began put into operation. Currently a new and larger plant in Dezhou City, Shandong Province is under construction, It is expected to put into production in the middle of 2016. SiwoChem has now formed the industry pattern specialized in waterborne polyurethane production and service which consists of a business center and two production bases in Shanghai and Shandong.
