Storage: The dispersion should be stored in a frost-free place in tightly sealed containers. Itcontains no preservative.
Application and Performance:
1. Two component industrial coatings
It contains high hydroxy content and mainly be used in 2-pack systems with water-dispersible polyisocyanate crosslinker. It is suggested that OH-PUD-1538 dispersion is crosslinked with 20-25% water-dispersible polyisocyanate EC-377 (It is produced by our company) to maximize performance properties after 5-7 days. The dispersion is not suitable for 1-pack systems at room temperature.After air-drying, the coatings based on 2-pack systems show more excellent surface hardness, more excellent abrasion resistance, more excellent water resistance, and more excellent chemicals resistance.
2. One component industrial stoving coatings
OH-PUD-1538 can be combined with partially methylated melamine resins to formulate water-dilutable stoving coatings and primers. OH-PUD-1539 to the amino resin (Cymel 325 as an example) is usually 100:15 (calculated on overall weight), It cure for 20-30min at approx. 120-130 °C, you can get a better overall performance, excellent hardness, adhesion, water resistance and solvent resistance.
The laboratory test results of OH-PUD-1539* :
(1) Pencil hardness: 6H.
(2)Adhesion: cross-hatch, the rating 0.
(3) Gloss: gloss meter at 60 °, > 90 .
(4) Solvent resistance: alcohol wipe damage > 150 times. MEK wipe damage > 100 times.
(5) Water resistance: no significant changes in boiled water for 30min, not changes at room temperature water
for 25 days.
(6) Impact: 50cm.
