Ovgorod Prefecture supplies about 1,200 tons of wooden spoons to China
According to the Russian Federal Animal and Plant Health Supervision Service, Novgorod Prefecture has supplied about 1,200 tons of wooden spoons to China since the beginning of 2022.
All the products successfully passed China's phytosanitary inspection and arrived in their destination countries, the ministry said.
Novgorod Oblast is located in the northwestern European part of Russia. Chemicals, wood and wood products account for the vast majority of the sector's export supply. In the first nine months of 2022, Novgorod Oblast exported more than 140,000 cubic meters of wood products to China.
