These 19 categories of substances will be included in the priority control chemicals list

Recently, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, together with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Health and Health Commission, compiled the "Priority Control Chemicals List (Second Batch) (Draft for Comments)" for public comment, with a deadline of 31 May 2020.

The List of Priority Controlled Chemicals (Second Batch) focuses on environmentally and chemically hazardous chemicals that may exist for a long time in the environment and may pose unreasonable risks to the ecological environment and human health.

The second batch of lists contains 19 types of chemical substances, involving petrochemical, plastic, rubber, pharmaceutical, textile, dye, leather, electroplating, non-ferrous metal smelting, mining and other industries.

The 19 substances are: 2,4,6-tri-tert-butylphenol, isopropylated triphenyl phosphate, pentachlorothiophenol, benzo [a] pyrene and other 7 types of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, pentachloro Benzene and other 3 chlorobenzenes, cyanide, benzene, toluene, tris (2-chloroethyl) phosphate, bis (α-ethylhexyl) phthalate and other 4 phthalates, 1, 2-dichloropropane, 1,1-dichloroethane, 2,4-dinitrotoluene, o-toluidine, thallium and their compounds, polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxin and polychlorodibenzofuran, perfluorooctanoic acid Its salts and related compounds, hexachlorobutadiene, pentachlorophenol and their salts and esters.
