High performance silver catalyst with hightemporal yield fills the gap in China
Recently, YS-9110, the first high spatial andtemporal yield and high performance silver catalyst developed by BeijingResearch Institute of Chemical Industry and produced by Catalyst Branch, wassuccessfully put into use for the first time in the ethylene glycol plant ofYangzi Petrochemical Olefin Plant, filling the technical gap of this type ofcatalyst in China and further improving the adaptability of the domesticcatalyst to the ethylene glycol plant.
In order to ensure the successful use ofYS-9110 silver catalyst in the ethylene glycol plant of Yangzi Petrochemical,Yangzi Petrochemical has formulated the "domestication" program forYS-9110 silver catalyst. Up to now, the No.1 oxidation unit of YPC ethyleneglycol plant has been running safely and stably at high load under full epoxyproduction mode, and the initial effect of the catalyst has been achieved.
