China's self-developed multiple dual-effect water control technology for oil fields successfully used for the first time
Recently, a well in Liuhua 11-1 oilfield, where multiple double-effect water control operations were implemented, was successfully put into production, marking the first successful application of China's independently developed oilfield multiple double-effect water control technology, which realized fine water control in the wellbore segments and avoided the risk of rapid rise in water content after the well was put into production.
The reef tuff in Liuhua 11-1 oilfield is a rock fracture reservoir, which generally has technical problems such as easy water run-off to storm flooding and difficult segmentation in the wellbore. For this reason, after three years of continuous research, the project team of CNOOC Energy Development Co., Ltd. launched the first innovative "intelligent water control valve + oleophilic hydrophobic particles + liquid expansion packer" multiple water control mode in China, achieving the dual effect of intelligent control of oil and water propulsion speed in formation fractures and effective control of fluid flow in the wellbore. effect, to achieve accurate and efficient water control purposes.
This technology is the first time in China to be applied in Liuhua 11-1 oilfield, which solves the problem of water flooding in fractured reef tuff reservoirs and provides strong technical support for long-term stable production and improved final recovery rate in China's offshore oilfields.
