Aim at the Chinese market! Yeast giant wins Biohymn Biotechnology
On June 4, Lesaffre, a French producer of yeast and fermentation products, announced that it had acquired a majority stake in Biohymn Biotechnology, Inner Mongolia, China.
Inner Mongolia Baihuisheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established in 2012. It is a modern high-tech enterprise engaged in the production and operation of yeast and yeast derivative products. It is located in Linxi County Food Industrial Park, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. The total investment of the project is 300 million yuan, and the investment in fixed assets is about 255 million yuan. The plant covers an area of 300 acres. It has yeast production, power, environmental protection workshops, office research and development buildings and other supporting facilities. The total construction area is 61132.40 square meters.
This acquisition is in line with Lesaffre’s expansion strategy in the Chinese market and will bring closer contacts with regional customers.
At present, Lesaff has three production bases in China (Mingguang in Anhui, Laibin in Guangxi and Chongzuo in Guangxi) and four baking centers (Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing and Guangzhou) to provide technical support and professional training for Lesfo customers. And consultant. The transaction will help Lesaff in China to expand the baking and food taste, animal nutrition and health, nutrient market and expand the relevant product portfolio.
