Chilean table grape exports are expected to fall by 10%, with new varieties accounting for more than half
The Table Grape Committee of the Association of Chilean Fruit Exporters (ASOEX) has released its latest forecast for Chilean table grape exports for the 2022/23 season, with shipments of table grapes from Chile this season at 66,920,661 tonnes, 10% less than in the previous season and 2.5% below the Commission's estimate in its second forecast last October. At the same time, shipments of new grape varieties continued to perform well, accounting for more than half of total exports.
