Gulf chemical bisphenol a project starts on the west coast of Qingdao

On the morning of August 10, a batch of key projects including Bay chemical bisphenol A were started in the west coast of Qingdao City, Shandong Province. The project introduces world-class chemical technology from American begill company and Kellogg brownlut company, with annual output of bisphenol a240000 tons, cumene 300000 tons, phenol acetone 320000 tons and isopropanol 60000 tons. At present, the project has signed 116 million yuan of patent technology contract and 143 million yuan of main equipment procurement contract. The products are widely used in high-end manufacturing fields such as high-end polycarbonate, epoxy resin, automobile and robot, as well as chip, military, aviation and home appliance manufacturing industries. After the project is put into operation, the annual business income can be increased by 3 billion yuan and 700 million yuan respectively.

By then, the annual business income of Gulf chemical will reach 14 billion yuan and that of Gulf Group will exceed 20 billion yuan. As a new growth point of enterprises, bisphenol a project promotes enterprises to achieve new leaps and injects new kinetic energy of high-quality development for enterprises. After the commencement of the project, Gulf chemical mobilized all positive factors, resources and means, started the construction of bisphenol a project with high starting point, high standards and strict requirements, strengthened the management and control of project safety, quality, progress and investment to ensure that the project will be put into operation in the first quarter of 2022, give full play to economic benefits, and do well for regional economic development.
