Xinhecheng: An accident at the Shangyu base has no impact on production

ECHEMI 2020-08-20

On August 2, Zhejiang Xinhecheng Co., Ltd., a well-known vitamin manufacturer in China, suffered a safety accident in the 508-1 workshop of Shangyu Xinhecheng Biological Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of its holding subsidiary, in the process of outsourcing maintenance operations, causing 4 injuries.

Xinhecheng said that the production line will be overhauled in the third quarter every year, and the overhaul time is determined by the production tasks and equipment operation. As of now, since it does not involve production equipment and is in a shutdown period for maintenance, it is expected that it will not affect the production of the base.

It is understood that Xinhecheng is different from many large chemical companies in that Xinhecheng is a private enterprise. Whether it is the business at the beginning of the establishment of the company, or every subsequent expansion direction, the choice of the track must be completely judged by yourself.

Rongsheng, Hengli, Hengyi, Tongkun, etc., which are also private enterprises, basically all expand backward integration from polyester filaments. Although they develop very fast, they are mainly due to the limited capacity of the petrochemical industry. It's very large, and companies rarely expand the track. Therefore, Xinhecheng can develop to such a large scale today, and the ability to select the track can be said to be the best among domestic chemical companies.

Xinhecheng's operating income is mainly composed of three major sectors: nutrition, flavors and fragrances and new materials. The nutrition section includes vitamins and methionine, and the vitamin section mainly includes four varieties of vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin D3 and biotin.

Xinhecheng is the global leader in the vitamin A field and ranks in the forefront of the world in the vitamin E field.
