CII Calls For Entries For Its Industrial Innovation Awards

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is seeking entries for the fifth edition of its ‘Industrial Innovation Awards’. The awards were constituted in 2014 to recognise innovative Indian firms as champions and benchmark them on innovation readiness among other Indian firms.

The awards are open to all Indian industries and will be conferred on large, medium, micro-small segments across sectors having novel processes, products, services, or any other type of innovations, CII said. The last four editions of the awards have recognised 102 firms and 30 start-ups as ‘Champions of Indian Innovation’ in their respective industry sectors and segments, it added.

The awards comprise a six-stage process, and at the final stage the Grand Jury (eminent experts in technology, business and innovation) decides the award-winning companies. CII’s ‘Enterprise Innovation Maturity Framework’ is used by the jury to capture a 360-degree perspective of an enterprise’s innovation maturity. The last date for submission for 2018 awards is 20 May.
