THE ESTEE LAUDER COMPANIES NAMES VP/GM OF JO MALONE LONDON UK & IRELAND
THE WHAT? The Estee Lauder Companies has named Rachel Baker as Vice President General Manager of Jo Malone London UK & Ireland, effective March 1, 2023.
THE DETAILS Currently VP GM of Clinique, Dr Jart+ and Lab Series, Baker has worked for the US prestige beauty giant for more than 30 years. She replaces Melissa Mullen who has stepped down from the role to spend more time with her family and pursue other passions.
THE WHY? Baker has already led the brand in the region, so is familiar with the role. As Sue Fox, President of ELC UK & Ireland, explains, “With her strategic ability and commercial acumen, Rachel has achieved a consistent track record in delivering profitable brand growth and operational excellence in all channels of distribution. Rachel’s passion and strength is the leadership of her teams, especially in people development and shaping future leaders for ELC. She was fundamental in co-launching the UK&I Mental Health and Wellness Employee Resource Group and is a strong advocate for employee wellbeing.”
