As a leading powder coating leader in China, Huangshan Huajia sold 36,559 tons in 2021 and generated sales revenue of 688 million yuan. Huajia is one of the earliest powder coating manufacturers in China, and after the acquisition of Huangshan Huajia, PPG's market share in China has become the top three.

Charles Gassenheimer, managing director of the Flacks Group, said the deal removed a significant debt burden from Kelly Moore Coatings, putting the company on a path of growth and expansion.

Founded in San Carlos, California in 1946, Kelly Moore Coatings is one of the largest independent paint companies in the United States, with annual revenues of more than 400 million US dollars (about 2.85 billion yuan).

The acquisition, combined with its existing portfolio company Pleuger Industries of Germany, puts Flacks Group's vertical industrial business on track to exceed $1 billion in revenue over the next two to three years.
