Focused on 'differentiation and de-massified' products, Greatchem submitted IPO application in the GEM

 According to the progress of the GEM listing review, the status of the IPO application of Greatchem changed to "submitted for registration" on January 30, and the date of the company's IPO being reviewed and approved by the Municipal Committee on GEM is August 25, 2022.

According to the prospectus, Greatchem is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and development, production and sales of pesticide technicals, intermediates and formulations, and is one of the main suppliers of SDHI, trichloromethyl sulfide fungicides, biphenylhydrazine mite insecticides and pyrethroid insecticides in China.

The company adopts the product competition strategy of "differentiation and de-massified". The main products, such as Bifenazate, Captan, Folpet, and Carboxin Standard, are all de-massified products. The global annual output is not high, the manufacturers are few, but the sales price and gross profit rate are high. This competitive strategy for the company to maintain a higher market share and gross profit margin in the industry.

As of the signing date of this prospectus (November 10, 2022), the Company has obtained 104 certificates of pesticide products and 39 production licenses of pesticide products in China. The company intends to raise ¥691 million, which will be invested in the construction project of special chemicals with an annual output of 4500 tons and supplement the working capital.

After long-term market accumulation, the company has formed the product matrix of insecticide, fungicide and herbicide three series, and formed the competitive products represented by Bifenazate in insecticide, Captan in fungicide, Captan, Folpet, and Carboxin standard in herbicide. In the international market, the company has entered into the United States, the EU, India, Brazil, Israel, Japan and other international pesticide mainstream markets, and with UPL, ADAMA, Albaugh, SUMMIT AGRO and other international well-known customers, as well as NPS, Hailir and other domestic well-known enterprises to form a close cooperative relationship.
