Nestlé CEO expects nutrition revenue to double

2020-09-22

Nestlé CEO Schneider says Nestlé will focus more on food fortification as demand grows. Revenue from the health and nutrition business reached 2 billion Swiss francs a few years ago and Nestlé hopes to reach 4 billion Swiss francs by the end of next year, which would double the amount it generated five years ago.

China is now the world's most competitive market. Nestlé Baby Nutrition grew 14% year-on-year this year and is confident of future growth.

China is Nestle's second largest market, and infant nutrition has become one of its most important growth drivers. It is reported that during this year's Fair, Nestlé Infant Nutrition focused on displaying a range of special infant formulas from Europe.
