Mumbai to Host Analytica Anacon India and India Lab Expo

The Indian analytical instrument industry is expected to grow steadily at a CAGR of 17% – from a size of €0.5-bn to €2.4-bn between 2012 and 2020. One of the major drivers for this market is growing regulations to ensure high-quality products, which is, in turn, making end-users in industries such as pharma, chemical, food & beverages, more quality conscious. With quality needed to be conserved from the molecular level, the demand for laboratory analytical instruments is expected to continue to grow.

In order to capitalize on this growth opportunity, Messe Muenchen India announced a regional edition of analytica Anacon India and India Lab Expo, the market leading trade fairs for laboratory technology, analysis, biotechnology and diagnostics in Mumbai for the very first time. The trade fair is scheduled for April 25-26, 2018 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, on the same dates that Chemspec India, the leading event for the fine and speciality chemicals industry, will be taking place at the adjoining Hall 1.

The Mumbai edition is anticipated to bring together over a 100 exhibitors and expects over 3,500 trade visitors in just two days. The list of exhibitors include stability chambers, laboratory instruments, analytical technologies and chemicals to laboratory furniture and many more.

Supporting programmes

The trade fair will host a range of supporting programs including ‘Bio Pharma Landscape Conference’ focusing on in-depth discussion on the development, challenges and implementation of quality standards pertaining to bio-pharma process; and Anacon Technology Showcase on analytical technologies ranging from chromatographs to life sciences and more. “Business match-making is one of the key highlights of our trade fairs. At our Buyer-Seller Forum, you will network with industry leaders face-to-face to explore new opportunities,” noted Singh. The flagship edition of the trade fair will continue to take place in Hyderabad and is scheduled for September 6-8, 2018 at HITEX, Hyderabad.
