Eastman acquires Accuride Technology (Dalian) Co., Ltd
Eastman announced that it has acquired Accuride Technology (Dalian) Co., Ltd. The company manufactures and supplies paint protective films and window film products for the automotive and construction markets in Asia Pacific.
This acquisition demonstrates Eastman's commitment to driving growth in the performance film business and the paint protection and window film markets. This investment further strengthens Eastman's ability to create sustainable and superior value as a specialty materials company, while enhancing Eastman's service standards in Asia Pacific and China. The site will maintain the high operational and market supply standards that Eastman Performance Membranes business has always had.
"This acquisition will provide us with additional capacity support to meet the growing demand for paint protection film and window film products, while further enhancing the technological innovation and product upgrading capabilities of high-performance film materials. This will help provide Eastman's industry-leading team technology and brand with more capacity and personnel support, further advancing the rapid development of high-performance films in the automotive and construction aftermarket. Erin Bernhardt, global general manager of Eastman Performance Membranes, said.
