Eastman Tritan Products for FANCL Cosmetics Packaging
Japanese cosmetics company FANCL Co., Ltd. has introduced a new line of skin care products in Toiro that feature reusable packaging made with Eastman Tritan copolyester.
Taking a step toward circularity in the cosmetics space, Toiro offers consumers both reusable primary packaging and refillable cartridges.
Kingsport, Tenn.-based Eastman says consumers can reduce plastic waste by purchasing the shatterproof cosmetics bottle and cap once and only need to purchase the refill cartridge.
“FANCL fans are very excited about Toiro packaging, praising its high-quality Tritan bottle and the benefits of its reusable packaging,” Eastman said.
By choosing Tritan, FANCL offers reusable packaging that is known for its durability and resistance to breakage, Eastman said. Consumers can also be assured of the efficacy of FANCL’s signature preservative-free skin care products throughout the life of the Tritan bottle, while also having peace of mind that single-use plastics are being kept out of landfills, Eastman said.
“FANCL needed a material that met multiple requirements for this new product line,” said Tara Cary, Eastman market manager for cosmetic packaging. “From durability to chemical resistance to aesthetics, Tritan addressed all of these challenges. We love working with brands like FANCL who are committed to making sustainable products without compromise.”
