ICE Cotton Futures Market Falls Down

ICE cotton futures market fell down.

Cotton contracts for Jul closed at 86.06 cents per lb, down 0.86 cents per lb and Dec contract closed at 80.45 cents per lb, down 0.14 cents per lb. By the week ending May 6, 20% of cotton crops has been planted in U.S., up 8% from previous week and flat from a year ago.

Cotlook A Index did not update Monday due to a public holiday in the UK.
