Coxtron will build its largest TPU production base in the world in Zhuhai
On February 23, Coxtron announced that it will invest hundreds of millions of euros to build its largest thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) production facility in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, which will be the largest investment project for Coxtron's TPU business.
The new base, located in Zhuhai Gaolan Port Economic Zone, covers a total area of about 45,000 square meters and will have an annual TPU capacity of nearly 120,000 tons when fully completed in 2033. The project will be constructed in three phases, with an investment of tens of millions of euros in the first phase. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2025, with an annual capacity of about 30,000 tons and the creation of about 80 jobs. In addition, the base will be equipped

The product line will cover injection-grade TPU specifications for shoe materials and various electronic devices, as well as extrudation-grade specifications for cables, hoses and tubing or automotive components. The manufacturing site will be equipped with an innovation center that will collaborate with customers to accelerate product development and formulation adjustment, and will develop sustainable and more circular solutions.
